Vistamar and its great year-end closure in 2023

The Descorchados Fair 2024 awarded significant scores to two wine lines from Vistamar Winery: Block and Eje. Both lines are part of the winery’s renewed portfolio, which aims to highlight the importance of its fresh origins, such as the sea and mountains, while reaffirming the relevance of its different terroirs.

Since its establishment in 1997, Vistamar Winery has focused on observing and studying nature. One key aspect of its wines is the search for locations influenced by the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. These conditions contribute to the slow and unhurried maturation of the vines.

Over the past 26 years, Vistamar Winery has successfully crafted wines with vertical structure, known for their elegance and, above all, great freshness. These wines originate from the most relevant and recognized wine valleys in Chile.

This was evident in the latest awards ceremony at the Descorchados Fair 2024. On this occasion, Vistamar Block #13 Carmenère 2021, Block #12 Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, and Block #9 Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah 2021 received impressive scores of 92 points.

In addition, Eje Andes Gran Reserva 2021 and Eje Costa 2022 were awarded notable 91 points, similar to Block #1 Chardonnay 2022. Finally, Eje Costa Gran Reserva 2023 was recognized with 90 points.
