The critic responsible for tasting Chilean wines for the prominent critic Robert Parker´s Wine Advocate, Luis Gutiérrez, recently published the report corresponding to the Chilean wines tasted during his visit to Chile, between February and March 2023, in which Vistamar was highlighted.
In this list, which included the tasting of more than 2,000 Chilean wines, Gutiérrez highlighted two wines from the Vistamar portfolio: Corte de Campo Coastal White 2021 and Vistamar Gran Reserva Chardonnay 2021, both qualifying them with 90 points.
Corte de Campo Coastal White is a blend of the Chardonnay-Viognier varieties, which also includes Viognier, Semillón and Gewurztraminer from the Casablanca Valley, which seeks to highlight the particular characteristics found in these varieties in this coastal origin. Gutiérrez highlighted this wine “Coastal freshness, good acidity, and integrated oak. Clean, fresh and easy to drink”, commented the prominent wine critic.
